• Lesson plans are subject to change on a daily basis. Students are also able to receive 15 points of participation every week. Participation points may be deducted based on behavior and classroom/studio etiquette. In addition to the projects below, students will also have in-class activities and supplemental assignments. This is a general outline for what we are going to cover. 

    April 29 - May 3

    • Monday: Creation of simplified symbols and shapes on watercolor paper. Application of rubber cement for color blocking.
    • Tuesday: Creation of simplified symbols and shapes on watercolor paper. Application of rubber cement for color blocking.
    • Wednesday: Applying watercolors to watercolor paper, layering different colors and techniques (creation of texture)
    • Thursday: Applying watercolors to watercolor paper, layering different colors and techniques (creation of texture)
    • Friday: Removal of rubber cement to display blocked out areas. Addition of watercolor pencils to create additional interest
