Hello everyone! My name is Mrs. Allison Shultz, and I am so excited for my second year at Rockwood Area School District. I will be teaching 12th grade English, Journalism, and Career Expo 9. I will also be acting as the advisor for the Creative Writing Club. I graduated from Slippery Rock University in the spring of 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English Education, and I earned my Master's Degree in Online Instruction from Slippery Rock in December of 2022. I previously taught at Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District for 3 years, where my love for teaching flourished. I live in Normalville, PA with my husband, our beloved pets, and our daughter Bristol who we welcomed over the summer. In my spare time, I like to read, binge watch my favorite shows, and spend time with family and friends. A fun fact about me is that I am a huge fan of all things Disney, and have visited Disney World every year since I was 2 years old. I am looking forward to a great 2023-24 school year and cannot wait to interact with the incredible students, families, and community members of Rockwood.
